Turn on or off Automatic formatting of Hyperlinks
Word can format e-mail addresses as hyperlinks as you type but this feature can be turned off
1. Tools Menu - Click AutoCorrect Options and then select Autoformat as you type tan
2. Under Replace as you type , select or clear the internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.
You can also just turn it off for one item by highlighting the words then right-click - select Hyperlink and then Remove hyperlink.
