
Many of you have still been receiving Emails thro Tiscali accounts whilst other have been terminated and the mail transferred to a new account opened by Orange.
As promised details on how to set up an account within Outlook Express to access your Orange Mail.
You must have your Tiscali Email account details including your Password
In October you should have received an Email from servicio.cliente@orange.es with a subject Importante: Nueva cuenta correo Orange
This Email will have given you :
Usuario (Username): (youremailname)@orangecorreo.es
ContraseƱa (Password): (this will be the same as used for Tiscali)
Pop3 Details : pop.orangecorreo.es
SMTP Details: smtp.orangecorreo.es
Options:
Either Change the Username, password, pop and smtp details in your Tiscali account or create a new one.
Change Tiscali Account.
Open Outlook Express
TOOLS-ACCOUNTS-Highlight Tiscali and PROPERTIES – GENERAL , change Account Name and Email Address
SERVERS –Input the new Pop and SMTP Details . Email address and Password
Ensure the Authentication Box is ticked.
APPLY – OK
Test sending and receiving Mail using the new Orange information. You will note that any recent mail sent to Tiscali will now go and be delivered by Orange. If most of this is SPAM you can Stop picking up any of the mail.
TOOLS-ACCOUNTS-Highlight Orange-Remove the tick on the Box to include mail using this account – APPLY and OK
Remember you might be missing some relevant mail so it is worth checking your INBOX online with the server.
http://correo.orange.es/ use the second option and drop down the box to ensure you select @orangecorreo.es. Input your Username and Password and you can then view and delete any unwanted mail online.
