Hope to get around to putting together the November Calender today but most important is the New AVG Program update.
From time to time AVG updates the basic éngine´of the free version of Anti-Virus program and those of us who use it have been getting warnings that the old version will not be supported after January 2007. No panic!
I have downloaded the New version and will put it out on a CD. I will also put out installation instructions.
For those of you who use AVG but do not attend classes, the new program, can be downloaded from the Internet. It is very large over 16 Mgbyte - so Broadband users only!

The installation instructions for an Upgrade are to select the REPAIR OPTION. Please note this.
Immediately after Install you will be warned that the Virus Data file is out of date. This is also a large file (5MByte). You will then be back to the familiar coloured cube on the right hand side of your task bar. Regular updates will mean shorter download times so either use the automatic update option or do it manually at least twice a week.
